i was born in this hospital in 1964. My grandmother was a nurse here for
qiute a long time.

I was born in the old St. Joseph's hospital on the north end of downtown in
1962. I believe that building is now part of St. Jude's.

I was also born at Baptist Memorial in 1964. When they took it down, I got
a brick to keep as a little "souvenir." It always seemed such a massive and
imposing structure to me. I was sad to see it go.
