I carried the Memphis Press Scimitar when I was a kid in Memphis. MSU was my route. I "threw" papers from Southern Avenue north to Norriswood (or a block or so north of that.) The last time I drove through Memphis, Norriswood and the house I lived in) were all a part of the campus. We rented it from Doc Johnson from the geography department. There was a small walkover bridge and a storage shed in the back yard in those days and it opened up to the field where the MSU marching band would practice.
