NATHAN BEDFORD FORREST, Confederate General whose military exploits are legendary.  The General and his wife rest beneath the base of this statue, located in Forrest Park on Union Avenue.

MEDICAL CENTER, Memphis, Tennessee.  One of the Nation’s fine medical centers is made up of large general and specialized hospitals and University of Tennessee College of Medicine, with the largest enrollment in the United States; and the UT College of Dentistry and Schools of Pharmacy, Nursing, and Biological Science.
